Best Friends: You’re Welcome Bestie
Community is essential. None of us can take on this life thing alone. That's why we have Best Friends to lend a helping hand. Whether we’re saving strays from the slaughter, or rescuing humans from a life of loneliness, Best Friends put the work in to make this world a better place. We are your best friend, their best friend, the community's best friend, even the planet’s best friend. It’s hard to be everything to everyone, but the most important things in life are worth going the extra mile for. You’re worth it, and they are too. You don’t have to thank us, but you’re welcome, bestie.

You’re Welcome, World
Best Friends will set-up branded water and pet food dispensers in popular, pet-friendly hiking trails around the country, that they will also adopt and help maintain. They will also provide branded baggies to pick-up after the dogs, and will set-up branded trash cans along the trail for these bags and other excess trash to be dropped in. Signage around the booth will discuss what Best Friends does, and provide a QR code where people can donate, or sign petitions to encourage “No-Kill” nationwide. This activation will show that we are committed to being everyone’s bestie, the planet, the hikers, the pups. We also have a setup with dogs available to adopt or even just to walk on the trail for the day.
Puppy/Kitten Bowl Sponsorship
Everyone’s favorite alternative to the Super Bowl, Best Friends will sponsor the Puppy Bowl, filling that arena with adorable rescue dogs that fans can adopt following the bowl. During the programming, a QR code will appear on screen which will take fans to the adoption page, hosted on Best Friend’s website. They will also get sponsorship from brands, and create adorable pet-sized jerseys that people can order online. Profits will go towards Best Friends.
Queer Eye for the Furry Guy
Teaming up with the Queer Eye team, we will film a series of comedic shorts (15 min or less) where the Queer Eye guys help transform a raggedy, uncouth and untrained former stray dogs, cats, rabbits or horses, and help get them cleaned up, primped, and ready for adoption. These will then be available to watch on Netflix, with each episode ending with a Best Friends card and info of where and how people can help/donate.
Walking Paws for a Cause
Best Friends will sponsor a 5K where all participants will take a rescue dog with them on the walk. We will have branded merch to give out during the event. At the end of the race, those dogs will then be available for adoption. If adoption isn’t an option for some people, they can spend the day with the dog instead. The 5K will be near a popular dog friendly park or running route to get people excited and interested in the brand.
Hanging with the Horses
We will bring our horses out on the town for a little fun. We’ll set up a station on some high end beaches; Newport, Highland, Manhattan, Laguna, La Jolla, Georgia beach, etc. or trails for people to come spend time with our horses. People can come out and hang out with a horse, and donate. We can take photos and shoot content for social media, saying which location we’ll be at next. We can also talk to people about how to help our cause.

Hey bestie! Quick furry fact: did you know that 920,000 animals are killed every year for being homeless? But here at Best Friends, we don’t murder our besties for being in between homes. We are committed to keeping all strays alive, but we need your help! Don't donate if you don’t have it. Volunteer to kick it with your besties instead! Play with a pup or 2, brush some horses, run wild with rabbits or cuddle a cat! We have tons of furry friends who are dying to meet you. So do some good while having some fun. Hanging with friends always leads to happiness – for you, us, and them. You’re welcome, bestie.
